On April 23, 2025, WABEO filed an objection to the federal election with the German Bundestag. The basis: approximately 650 violation reports from 2,000 responses from WABEOs who were deployed in 3,300 polling districts.
This will be the first time in German history that a group of independent election observers files an objection against a federal election.

Important state elections are coming up in 2026: On March 8 in Baden-Württemberg and on March 22 in other federal states. Our goal is nationwide observation of all polling districts.
